How do I book a trip?
Browse our available trips, select your preferred cabin, and click "Book Now". You'll be guided through a secure checkout process. Once your deposit payment is confirmed, your booking is instantly confirmed — no waiting for email approvals.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express through our secure payment processor Stripe. Some operators also accept bank transfers for balance payments. All transactions are SSL encrypted and PCI-DSS compliant.
How does the payment schedule work?
Each trip has a payment schedule set by the operator — typically a deposit at booking and the remaining balance due before departure. The exact amounts and dates are shown on the trip page and in your booking confirmation email.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Your card details are encrypted and never stored on our servers. The connection is secured with TLS/SSL encryption.
Cancellations & Changes
What is the cancellation policy?
Each trip has its own cancellation policy set by the operator, clearly displayed on the trip page. The refund amount depends on how far in advance you cancel before the departure date. Please review the policy carefully before booking.
Can I change my booking after confirmation?
Some changes (e.g., cabin upgrades or name corrections) may be possible depending on availability. Contact the operator directly or reach out to us at hello@sharc.app and we'll help coordinate.
What happens if the operator cancels the trip?
If an operator cancels, you'll receive a full refund of all payments made. We'll notify you as soon as possible and process the refund within 14 business days.
Trip & Diving
Do I need a dive certification?
Most liveaboard trips require at least an Open Water certification. Some advanced itineraries (deep dives, currents, technical diving) may require Advanced Open Water or higher. The required certification level is listed on each trip page.
What's included in the trip price?
Inclusions vary by operator but typically cover accommodation, meals, diving (with tanks and weights), and transfers as specified on the trip page. Flights, travel insurance, visa fees, equipment rental, and gratuities are usually not included unless stated otherwise.
What should I bring on board?
Bring your dive certification card, logbook, personal dive equipment (or rent from the operator), reef-safe sunscreen, light clothing, and any medications. After booking, you'll receive a detailed packing list and trip preparation guide from the operator.
Guest Profile
What is the guest profile?
After booking, you'll receive a link to complete your guest profile — a digital form where you enter your dive certifications, dietary requirements, emergency contacts, passport details, and travel plans. This helps the operator prepare everything for your trip.
When should I complete my guest profile?
We recommend completing it as soon as possible after booking, ideally within 2 weeks. The operator needs this information to arrange cabins, meals, dive gear, and airport transfers.
